Being a church calls us to engage with one another outside of Sunday mornings as we strive to grow in faith together and involve ourselves with what God is up to in our world. There are a number of ways to get involved with our community throughout the course of the week, and we would love to have you join us.
“God means to do something with us, and he means to do it in community. We are in on what God is doing, and we are in on it together.” – Eugene Peterson

One of the best ways to grow in faith and go deeper in your relationships with others is to get involved with Elevation’s Mid-Week Groups. These gatherings are held at various times of the week, in different locations, and each with a unique focus.
If you have questions or are interested in joining a group, fire an email off to Sarah and Skylar Van Kruistum and they will get you set up.
Every week, a group of parents and caregivers and their little ones get together at 22 Willow for ‘Sticky Fingers‘ – a time of play for the kids and conversation for the grown-ups!
To receive updates, request to join the Elevation Moms facebook group. Feel free to drop in, or for more info, email Sharon.

We believe that the Youth of our church not only represent our bright future, but are a key part of who we are today. We are encouraged by their increasing participation in the life of our church and are committed to investing in them as they grow in life and faith.
Those in Grades 6-8 (Junior Youth) and Grades 9-12 (Senior Youth) typically meet at 22 Willow on Tuesday nights from 7:00-9:00, led by a fabulous team of leaders. The Youth also gather during the discussion time on Sunday mornings and get together for occasional weekend events. A current Youth calendar can be found here.
We also love integrating our Youth within the broader Church community! If you are interested in being a leader, hosting Youth group at your house for special events, or becoming a Youth 1:1 Mentor, let us know!
For more information, email Graham.
On any given Sunday you’ll notice a number of Students and Young Adults who are part of our community. They are such an important part of who we are!
As a way of helping people connect, we host a monthly lunch for Students and Young Adults, typically on the first Sunday of each month. This is a great place to engage in some good conversation and fill your stomach at the same time! Everyone is welcome.
To get on the email list or if you have questions, fire a note off to Helen.
It’s our desire to help create an environment at Elevation in which marriages both get off on the right foot and continue to develop and flourish through the years. We are committed to developing a culture of communication, as we affirm the value of inviting other couples to both encourage and challenge us in our marriages.
A prime example is Marriage Mentoring, where a more experienced couple invests in a less experienced couple to help them navigate the marriage journey. If you’re interested in becoming a mentor, or in having someone mentor you, contact Don and Judy.
There is also our 8 Cities initiative, an eight-month journey into the heart of married life, using the exotic tastes, sounds, and stories of global cities to explore what it means to pursue a life-giving and enduring marriage. Visit the 8 Cities website for more details or to register for the next session.
Just as God expressed His love by coming to live with us, we want to be a life-giving presence in our community and the wider world, living out Jesus’ values within our natural spheres of influence.
The Mission team is a group of people from Elevation who want to support local and global mission. Our mandate is to support mission initiatives of our people locally, nationally and internationally, and to connect the congregation with opportunities to learn, serve, and give. We seek to inspire and empower active, generous involvement in the world around us. We encourage church members to get involved in existing service organizations and member initiatives, to share food and friendship with neighbours, and to explore Jesus’ life and message.
Elevation Women’s Ministry has been launched in hopes of creating a greater sense of community and belonging amongst all women who call Elevation home. It is our hope that gathering together as women will build strong connections with each other, our community and our world as we participate in fun and meaningful activities.
